Chia seeds are nutritious---they're rich in heart-healthy omega-3 fats as well as fiber---and we love using them in everything from smoothies to puddings to meatballs. On this week's show, we dish about our newest recipes for Chocolate Chia Pudding and Cha Cha Cha Chia Meatballs. The meatballs call for chia seeds instead of the usual breadcrumbs, so they’re gluten free, and the pudding is so delicious, your kids will love it as an after-school snack or dessert.
