This is the time of year when we get to let our hair down as we nibble our way through luscious and decadent holiday goodies. It's hard to turn them down, which is why we spend a lot of our time dreaming up clever ways to slim down and health-ify all of those traditional treats. On this week's show, we serve up healthier holiday secrets and add a new twist to holiday classics with two better-for-you dessert recipes: Almond-Apricot Snowballs and Mini Peppermint Cupcakes. Both are made with canola oil instead of butter, so they are a lot lower in saturated fat than their butter-laden counterparts. And since they are mini, the calories are a lot lower too!
